Course Description:

The translation of organizational behavior theory and research to practices for creating productive organizations that are great workplaces. Students examine behavior at the individual, group and organizational level to explain, predict and change behavior at work.


Student Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • Identify "people" issues that organizations face and suggest corrective measures/plan of actions
  • Contrast the potential benefits of corporate social responsibility at the individual, organizational and societal levels
  • Organize and synthesize information to produce high quality documents
  • Produce professional quality presentations using PowerPoint and its "narration" function
  • Identify people-related challenges associated with global business
